Humans are reshaping oceans
Humans are responsible for changing oceans and the study over the effect of human activities on sea was conducted at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis that is research centre located in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The researchers headed by Benjamin S. Halpern collected about 17 global data and found that human activities were changing the structure of marine ecosystems and most stressed areas were at the North and Norwegian seas, Eastern Caribbean, South and East China seas, North American eastern seaboard, Bering Sea, Mediterranean, Persian Gulf, and around Sri Lanka.
