Shortage of blood thinner in market
The Baxter International Inc. had stopped making the blood thinner called heparin after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued warning related to the medicine. The FDA received complaints from patients regarding allergic reaction and other life threatening dangers on taking the heparin vials in large amount and therefore the drug company Baxter International Inc had to stop making the drug.
The FDA is trying to find out an alternative to the shortages created by stopping the production of the blood thinner made by Baxter International Inc.
