Groups seeking global agreement against tobacco

The anti smoking groups are trying to formulate a global agreement to prohibit the illegal trade of tobacco and tobacco products all over the world that causes a loss of billions of dollars in taxes to the government and causes deaths of the people who get addicted to tobacco.

Talks between the representatives of people from 150 nations is planned to take place in Geneva to talk over the treaty that is the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control which was made an international law in the year 2005.
