Diller and Liberty Chairman battle over IAC ( InterActiveCorp)

The Liberty Media group has filed a complaint in the Delaware Chancery Court to get removal of the IAC Chairman and Chief Executive, Barry Diller. The case has also been filed to get the removal of 6 other board members of the IAC / InterActiveCorp.

The legal case is considered to be a major development in the battle between Diller and Liberty Chairman John Malone that were planning to split IAC into five companies. General Counsel Greg Blatt issued a statement on Monday stating that the legal case showed the desperation of Liberty in the matter.
