Opposition rallies clash with police in Kenya
In Kenya, clashes of police with the opposition supporters continues and the police used tear gas to break open the rallies that were held against the President Mwai Kibaki by the opposition party that demanded re -elections in the state. In the coastal city of Mombasa and the city Kisumu, the supporters of oppositions burned down tyres and sang anti Kibaki slogans.
The police fire gas to scares the rallies and opposition march was carried out in the cities. The situation in Kenya is worsening as about 600 people have been killed in the violence and 250,000 have been rendered homeless after the clashes erupted in the country.
