Schwarzenegger’s plan gets criticized by budget analyst
The proposal by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to cut $14.5-billion budget gap has been criticized by the budget analyst and the legislative analyst.
The amount that is needed to fill the gap for the budget and keep priorities on high while spending the money does not clearly indicate how the state will be spending the money.
Elizabeth G. Hill, the legislative Analyst was critical for the 10% cut in spending for all the agencies and programs. She said that the effect on cutting has to be determined and the critical spending cannot be stopped.
