Mercury the new research subject for NASA

The planet mercury has not been studied widely by the scientists in NASA and a space probe called Messenger that will travel 124 miles above the surface f the planet will try to capture the information related to the planet. This will be the first pass before Messenger get settles into the orbit of the planet.

Mercury is the smallest planet of the solar system and if earth was a baseball then mercury can be compared to a golf ball. The Messenger scientist and the director of the MMT Observatory said that this will bring out many surprises related to the planet close to the sun.
