Bomb explodes in a Kurdish city
Five people got killed when a bomb exploded in the Kurdish city of Diyarbakir. About 60 people were injured in the incident. The bomb was kept in a car and was exploded with a remote control at evening 5 when a bus carrying military people was passing from the area.
The Governor said that most of the army personnel were in the list of injured and the attack is reported to have occurred when the Turkish’s armies bombed at the Kurdish militants.
The authorities suspect the involvement of militants in the attacks. Diyarbakir is one of the largest cities of Turkey and was earlier attacked in September 2006 killing 10 people.
