Sean Penn to be president of Festival de Cannes jury

The 61st annual Cannes festival will take place from May 14-25.The jury will be headed by Sean Penn who is a known as the actor-director. The actor had won the best male performance prize in 1997 Cannes festival for the movie directed by Nick Cassavetes’ called “She’s So Lovely is excited to be the part of the festival.

Speaking to the media he said that canes has long been known to have recognized new cinema from all over the world and he is looking forward for participating in the prestigious event as the president of the jury.
