Effect of cancer on brain

The Phase II study of the effect of breast cancer and its spread to brain was made by the GlaxoSmithKline Plc that will be testing more cases for its drug Tykerb on the patients suffering from breast cancers that effects brain.

The study has been conducted on women who have HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer which effects brain of the patient.

On using the drug with Xeloda the growth of the cancer can be suppressed. The tests on patients who were given the drug Tykerb was published in the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in San Antonio, Texas.
