Polls not in favor of President

The people of Pakistan do not want Pervez Musharraf to get back to power. The polls conducted disclosed that 67 percent Pakistani’s wish him to resign immediately and 70% do not want him to get re-elected in elections.

The polls also point out that the current government of Pakistan will win in the elections only of the elections are not held completely democratically or the president will have to get people in his favor politically to get a win.

The elections in Pakistan will be held in January 8 and the polls have been conducted by International Republican Institute, an institute based in Washington.

The opposition leaders of Pakistan are already accusing President Musharrafof vote fixing. In polls 30 % people favor Ms. Bhutto,25 % Nawaz Sharif and 23% favor Pervez Musharraf.
