Mars similar to earth

Mars had a “habitable environment” and this was studied by scientists studying images given by Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The scientist said that the planet has high level of silica and on earth silica is found at a hot spring areas or a volcano area and that suggests the similarity in the Earth’s crest and Mars’s crest.

Spirit’s twin had earlier found the presence of acidic groundwater in Mars and other related images suggest the presence of gullies on the hills on Mars which indicates that Co2 was present on Mars. All these similarities of Mars with earth suggest that there existed habitable environment on Mars.
