Pakistan Emergency rule to end on Dec 16

The emergency rule in Pakistan will end by 16 December and this was declared by president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf who yesterday took oath for the next five year Presidential term.
The western ally of Pakistan had been making demands from the president Musharraf to lift emergency after taking oath for president as a civilian candidate to restore democracy in the country.
The opposition leaders are planning to boycott the elections that will be held on January 8 for electing a Prime minister for the country. Former prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has announced that he will meet Benazir Bhutto before deciding on his participation in elections.
