Gift Shopping on Internet

It is expected that the shoppers are going to spend approx. an average of $817 for gift shopping which does not include the costs spent on them.

The online marketing of products has been increasing every year with the increase in number of offers to the online customers. The surveys are suggesting that the spending on marketing in the holidays can be controlled if the shoppers go for online marketing.

Last year the statistics suggest that 30 % of shopping by the consumers was done online. This year it is expected to grow to 65 %.The only disadvantage for online marketers is that they cannot touch or smell the product but the websites BizRate, DealTime, Shopping.com, Amazon.com, Shopzilla ,Yahoo Shopping and others are coming with many lucrative offers online to get customers in the holidays season.
