Death toll rises to over 10,000 in Bangladesh

The various aid groups and social organizations are trying to reach remote places of the cyclone hit area of Bangladesh to help people come out of the disaster. The death toll is rising and it is reported to go beyond 10,000.
The disastrous cyclone that hit the area at the speed of 240 km/h winds has uprooted the complete area and is one of the worst cyclones that hit Bangladesh in the current decade.
The government of Bangladesh is reporting a death toll of 3000 people but the social welfare organizations working to provide help to the people effected by the cyclone all over the country mostly in the south Bangladesh report that the death toll could be more than 10000.
Agricultural land having 761,000 acres of crops are destroyed in the cyclone and 1.5 million people had left the area before the catastrophe hit when the warning of the cyclone was issued.
