Health care costs more for employers
The costs incurred by employers towards health insurance is increasing and the increase in health care cost is slowing .This has resulted in companied opting out of offering the health insurance package to its employees.
The average costs incurred towards health coverage comes out to be $8,000 per worker as per the survey conducted by Mercer’s National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans on 3,000 employers.
The employers are reporting that health care costs more than inflations and most of he profits are spent towards providing such benefits to the workers.
Employers prefer to pay for health reimbursements and health accounts instead of health insurance in the scenario of increasing health insurance cost.
