March in Washington against Hate Crimes

Many gathered in Washington to march against the hate crimes against African Americans and other minority groups that are prevalent in the country.

The march was to protest against the harsh charges filed in Jena, Louisiana in Dec 2006, against six black students for beating up a white student who were jailed and one of the black student was jailed for 10 years. The white students in the same case were not punished by the legal department but only suspended from the school.

The rally was against the partial justice that was incapable of handling the hate crimes in the country. The rally was participated by people from Florida, Michigan, and Washington.
