Community Awareness Day to be hosted for tobacco prevention
A Community Awareness Day was hosted by 31st Great American Smoke out Tombigbee Healthcare Authority and Marengo County Tobacco Free Coalition for awareness against the use of tobacco in Americans. The awareness program is for a better and healthier future of Americans. The program was arranged at Theo Ratliff Center.
The tobacco prevention coordination department also took part in the program. Niko Phillips of Alabama Department of Public Health said that as eight smokers die due to the intake of tobacco one non smoker dies due to the effect of tobacco taken by smokers.
