Imran Khan was imprisoned by the military rule

The former Pakistan cricket team captain Imran Khan was arrested by the General Pervez Musharraf military rule and imprisoned yesterday after the emergency has been declared in the country. The media has been trying to contact the former team captain Imran Khan who is a prominent leaders of opposition in Pakistan.

As the media queried about Imran Khan to the General Pervez Musharraf, he replied that Imran was with him and supporting his rule. General will be resigning from the post of Army Chief to take part in general elections declared to he held in Pakistan in January.

The parties opposing General rule has been criticizing the implication of emergency in the country and are also uniting against the rule of the army chief.
