Jorge Posada gets offer from Yankees
Jorge Posada gets offer from the Yankees of a four-year, $52.4 million contract. Posada has been waiting for the offer from Yankees and during a lunch meet with Brian Cashman Padosa and his wife had opened up that they were expecting the contract of four year from Yankees.
The offer to Posada was three year $40 million given by Brian Cashman that was refused by Posada who insisted on getting a four year contract from the team management and his request was accepted by the management and owners of Yankees, Cashman, Hank and Hal Steinbrenner later.
