Company sued for issuing high valuations for property
The company eAppraiseIT LLC that issued a high valuation of property and increased property estimates to $2.3 million from $1.6 million to get loans sanctioned by the bank employee has been sued by New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo.
The home-appraisal unit of First American Corp. took decisions benefiting its high profile customers and a legal case against the company is due to be framed for the mortgage crisis that is affecting the market.
