Writers on strike in Hollywood

The movie and television writers have declared strikes in Hollywood after almost 20 years. In 1988 the writers were on strike over the labor issues.

The writer union declared that the strike will start on Monday and if the strike continues for long many soap opera’s and TV programs will have to be closed.

The strike will affect 200000 workers associated to the entertainment industry .A demand of increase in payment and benefits to the writers have initiated the strike.
