IAEA visit India for the nuclear deal
The government of India is facing extreme opposition from the Left parties regarding the nuclear deal with International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradeit who arrived at the capital city of India on Tuesday 9th of October.
The deal will allow US to operate the nuclear reactors in India and also allow importing U.S. nuclear fuel and reactors to India. The left parties in India are against US operating the nuclear reactor in India.
The left parties constitute more than 30 percent of the government and the government of India needs their support to be in power.
If the parties withdraw support immediate elections will have to be declared by the government. The government is stuck between choices whether to save the government or agree to the nuclear deal.
